January 14.... a photo a day...,

Here they are Jennifer.... the buttons I used for my little snow bear's eyes. Snipped from a vintage mink jacket that somebody gave me...hoping it could be used to make a bear. It had not really been cared for... was kind of smelly...so off they came and out it went. But, I always save buttons... who knows when I may need something special for a snow bear?

.... more snow overnight and today.... which I like because the old snow was getting a bit grubby from a few days of milder temperatures.

I love a new blanket of pristine white... the flakes today were soft and downy like the softest fly-away feathers....

There has been a cycle of days ...... new snow..then some warmer days with some slight melting... ..then cool again... more new snow.... now there are several layers of ice cream... but, the top has become pretty flat..

...new way of looking at the glass half empty....

.........and..........half full.....

It made me think of a huge cone with soft serve ice-cream. WOW...such a lot of snow! It's pretty to see but I do understand it can be a PITA too ~ :)

Lovely buttons! And lovely snow, too. I like snow if I don't have to be out in it...but only after our driveway gets shoveled so I CAN go out if I have to!

I love old buttons and have a tin full and often like getting them out and sorting the colours.
I used to always do that as a kid.

I could go for your ice cream now - we have a scorcher of a day,

Stay warm and I look forward to seeing more of your photos.

hugs
Carolyn
