WOYWW

Today I'm "winging it" ...

Hi everybody doing the WOYWW blog hopping.  My desk today is, once again, the kitchen table ..and the dining room table and the...well yehh...as usual at my place ... I've got stuff everywhere as you can see.  But.....who cares?  I'm having some fun.  And, who really cares except me anyway?  Mr. BV seems to enjoy seeing the little creations and appears genuinely interested in what my wools and fluffs are becoming. ...he knows more about dolls and bears than is prudent for a guy to admit most times ..but, it's all good.   He usually has to clear a space for his supper if a bear and bear fur is spread all over the table and he just does it with a grin...  ... this is not quite as messy....hahahha...it's his lucky week.

If you want to check the progress... check out the previous postings.... if you just want to see today's happenings... that's fine too.

Got one wing on the go .... and dug out some wire for my lovely big feet after Gretel mentioned it will be helpful in maintaining some balance with the height of Ms. Goosie.  She's long and lean, like a runway model.
She will be a bit top heavy though, even if she doesn't have a big head... it's just her height don'tcha know? ...  more ungainly than heavy really.  Oh, and that beezer .... I forgot, she does have a pretty big beak doesn't she? ........

If you want to see what other WOYWW participants are up to...hop on over to Julia's blog and check out the dozens...well, it's actually up to over 150 already today....  ...

... and after clearing spaces for grub.....we had a lovely, healthy soup I simmered all day.... with some home made toast.  Trying to make sure I am eating right to speed along the healing process .... I don't think it's working really, but I love making soup and definitely enjoy the eating part... ...

And, hey!! lookie there.... Blogger put back the little golden pencil edit tool.... thanks blogger!  It was difficult as all get out to find my way back to change a letter or two after publishing and re-reading my post and discovering my boo boos... .....

Hi Vee,

The goose is looking great - sounds a lot like our house sometimes - bears and fluff do have a way of taking over! look forward to seeing your goose finished.
Yum, the soup and homemade bread, nothing could be nicer.

Happy Easter

The soup and toast look so yummy! I am a big fan of soup, and toast now that I think of it. I don't usually combine the two, but I'm seeing the possibilities. I LOVE felting! I had no idea that is what it was called. I don't do it, just have admired the creations from it. Ms. Goose is coming together just wonderfully. I went back through the posts to see her progression.

they also put back getting reply to comments back, must have gotten too many complaints about it

can't hurt to eat healthier, might help, but not going to lose anything by trying. and homecooked meals always taste better anyway

Goodness how do you do this? Is it simple needlefelting? (Sorry that sounds rude but I mean just wood and needles no machines). I've done a couple of flat pieces but had no idea this was possible. (No don't tell me, I DO NOT need another hobby!!!) Sounds klike your OH is as indulgent as mine. Happy WOYWW Cindy #67

The goose is shaping up nicely. And your soup looks delish. I love to have a pot going when I am crafting knowing that I will have something nice and warm to eat when the day is done. Tomorrow is bean soup. dani133

How could I have missed the fact that you've been so bleurgh. I'm so sorry to hear that you've been ill - sinus infections are THE PITS. I'm glad to hear that you're on the mend :D
Love Miss Goosey Gander - you are incredibly clever to create her with the felting method. I'm so cack-handed, I just know I'd end up with a tangled heap of knots. lol!! And soup - YUM - it is my favourite thing to make when the weather outside is vile.. we like Shrek soup in our family. It's just a basic leek and potato soup but I chuck in a big bag of spinach before blitzing with a stick blender - and it goes bright green!! Lots of Vitamin C...
Hope you continue to improve,

Hi Vee. Thanks for the visit. I'll comment on that in a minute, but wanted to say how much I loved the looks of that soup. In fact, I'm really hungry from drooling over it.

If you want to see how I finish my calendar pages, I will post it on Saturday when I have had time to work on it. So, feel free to come back for the only update I'll be making (grin). Happy Easter and happy belated WOYWW from #6.

I have no idea how you do that...I'm in awe and will look forward to seeing Ms Gander later.
Glad your feeling better in time for the Easter holidays.
I missed that little gold editing pencil too but thankfully it's back. Maybe it was on holiday?
Thanks for stopping by my way.
Have fun and enjoy the Easter break :D

I haven't tried felting one day, but perhaps sometime... Like you and knitting lol! That soup looks delicious and really nourishing and good - I can almost smell it over the Internet!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. The paper was really fun to do and I'm longing to do some more. I've got instructions somewhere for making it with spread out fibres from silk tops, and procion dyes, with lots of odds and ends added - a mixed media friend of mine told me about it. Lots to explore, always!

Happy belated WOYWW,

I now feel very hungry after looking at that soup. By the way, it looks as though Blogger has put back the dreaded Word Verification on your blog - did you know that? Reading about your DH looking at your crafty things, I suspect that a lot of men actually know more that they will admit to. Mine will sit and watch Barbara Gray's Clarity Stamp programmes on Create and Craft and enjoy it.
