a shimmery day.....

opened the patio door and the finest snow crystals sifted down onto my face...the camera lens... my 'jammies....loved it.

Brilliant blue sky day..

Tiny whorls of breeze...

Veils of shimmery glitter dust snow blowing off the roof. …

Who could ask for more?

They look like a million little diamonds ....

You described that exquisitely! I saw just that very thing the other day and wanted to describe it, but got lost in the words.

Okay, you nut, are you telling me that everything in your home is round? I find that very hard to believe. LOL!

Hi Vee

Sounds lovely, I never thought of snow as diamonds before. We have a forcast for a heavy snowfall today.... brrr got the heating turned up.

I've always compared snow crystals to diamonds as well:-) I love fresh fallen snow...it's like a blanket of diamonds when the sun or moon shine on it. The frigid temps we'd been having lately have finally relaxed its hold on us and today is quite pleasant...although -8C may still sound frigid to those south of the border! lol I'm missing being a regular blogger but my computer room should be back in order in a week or so:-) xoxo

Hi Vee,
You said "good morning" to me last week on Susan's blog, where I had commented. I was happy to hear from you! I am a "baby boomer" who recently found out how to use the internet, bought a little laptop, and have been discovering a whole new world. I enjoy many blogs, and yours and Susan's are among my favorites. I enjoy photos, crafts, recipes, and stories about animals.
You "snow diamond" pictures brightened my day, and I liked the story of the one-eyed dog you took in. Also, am wondering what kind of crock pot you have... I tried one, but it cooked everything too fast.

hi Judy... yes indeed, remember you will from Susan's blog. What a sad time for her right now..

Check under my labels and you will see crock pot...click on and it will take you directly to what I have. It seems to do a great job for being a very inexpensive purchase. Got it on sale at our hardware and tire shop...Canadian Tire. It only has 2 temps... low and high...but cooks wonderfully. This is my first one and I am really enjoying it.
