I wanted to post a bird photo

.... for the group I used to visit and hang out with .. at Paying Ready Attention.... remember Wild Bird Wednesday? ..

The sun was so pretty this morning very early...and, I tried for a chickadee against that backdrop.  They were so busy flitting in and out of the lilac branches ... I couldn't catch up at all...

This is my reward for trying.....nothing at all really.... little buggers....

I must be totally out of practice.

Aha!!!   finally, something that worked out!  Lemon squares!  hahhahahha........ I'm already practising for the festive season.  MMM.....  these are yummy......

Click to biggify and feel your mouth watering ..... slluurrppp......

Ha ha, I know exactly how you feel. Whenever I try to take a photo of one of my grandchildren, something moves. Their hand, their face, their whole body. I used to take a lot of photos of the backs of Luc and Patric. That's all I captured.
Ahhhh, lemon squares. Got a gluten free recipe for them? No, maybe it's best that I don't find one.

I would say you got some some excellent photos (blurry ones included - after all, they show the busyness of those little birds!). As for lemon squares - get thee behind me.

Ha ha - that second to last bird pic looks like he is challenging you take his pic. Cute aren't they. x Jo

HI Vee,

Happy that you finally got a photo of the bird. :)

Oh, annoying birds, never DO stay still long enough...I have never see a chickadee before now, though I have seen them mentioned in American fiction. They seem a little like our blue tits. (don't laugh!) Cake however, does sit still, but it too has a habit of vanishing quickly...

Ugh. Silly birds. I don't even try photographing them for that very reason. Little buggars won't sit still.

And I think that is why I love Lemon Squares so much!

Chickadees are tough to get pictures of! They flutter around quickly! I love lemon squares!

Interesting to see that they won't sit still for you either! How did the limp crow deal with the snow?

Very humid here today with impressive thunder storms - and not a chance of snow!
