WOYWW (on Thursday).....

once again I have fallen by the wayside in the blogging world.....ah, well......sometimes real life just interferes....or we don't have much to say or....well, any number of silly things happen actually.....I can't tell you everything now can I ? ..... ...hahahhaha...

But....look at this perky little 'dumfling' I received.  Yes.  That's what it is called.  A name invented by its maker...Twiglet.  Pop over to her blog and see what she makes .... dumflings are only one of her many creations.  And, it's not on my desk....but on my dining table at the moment...til I move all this fun stuff in preparation for my renovation.......another whole story....arrghhh!!

Last week was supposed to be a trade of ATCs at WOYWW...but, I was sidetracked like I mentioned...and didn't get around to making any.  Wasn't even home.  Twiglet offered to trade away one of her lovely little dumflings and I jumped at the chance.  She didn't set a deadline for my return ATC .... thanks so much Jo.

here you can see it closer..... it is felted .... and stitched ....and has some seed beads in the flower centers... I love it.

If you want to check out what WOYWW is all about ...go here...... Julia tells all....

Yes my Daughters cat is a Marbled Bengal and is apparantly partial to hair brushes!

How fab is that ATC... I love the technique used and might have to adopt the 'dumfling' saying.

Your little bears are just gorgeous and have such huge personalities.

Those dumflings are finding themselves a home all over the globe. How fun is that? A renovation, huh? Sounds like a lot of work. I have to lay down now just hearing the word.

That is a lovely creation; it looks like sunflowers, a favorite of mine.

I'm laughing as I just went to the link you posted of your friend "Twiglet" and that was the first place I heard the word "dumfling"! I had already visited her blog! It really is a "small world"! Valerie #26

Oh, how beautiful this atc is! What a cute name she came up with, "Dumflings"! :D, I love it!
...well, as you know, I fell off the bloggy bandwagon for a long, long, loooong time, because of our own house construction. There was just too much to do and think about, plus my work area got all packed up and put away during part of it. (We added a second floor, but the main level and the basement also got involved!) I'm just happy it's over now. I can totally understand what you're going through, Vee. I hope everything goes smoothly, and things for you get back to normal again real soon! xoxo Paulette
