Nazare...

from above...... and believe me... that is a loooooong way down.  People on the beach appeared the size of tiny ants.... if you click on the photo... enlarge it and squint reeeel hard you might be able to see them.  There was an elevator, more accurately, a funicular, in which to ride down and back again if you wanted...but, we drove down and wandered around the beach and the beach front.....another perfect day.  We have been so lucky weather wise.. not hot...but, sunny and breezy and just right.

Property is through the roof price wise...

This appeared to be our only viable alternative....a fixer upper.   However, Mr. BV... a veteran remodeller... was slightly overwhelmed..... ..so.... we opted for free stuff.  We could look at the beautiful ocean instead ...

... and a perfect time together. Oh, how I have enjoyed your company over the past 3 weeks. The fixer up ... I know Mr. BV would turn that into a magical home for you.

Oh Nazaré !!! I love this place, it's definitely my favorite one ! Did you take the funiculare to go down to the beach ?
I miss this city so much ! It felt so good to watch your pictures.
Btw, thanks for your sweet comment in my blog.

Now that's the kind of weather I like to have on holiday too. It's not good to be too hot when you want to be sightseeing. x
