what a lovely tribute to your mother ...I'm afraid my mother and I do not have a close or loving relationship so this day is sad for me also but for a different reason. Thanks Vee for your kind words recently left about my grief over the big red lug, my Noodle dog. Being single, not having close family (my father died when I was a teen ager) Jake did become so many things for me ... and I know that's why it's been so difficult. He really was my everything dog - my family, my boyfriend and my very best friend ... ever.

Such a nice tribute to your mother...

Thank you for telling us a little more about her. Another ocean lover...the great North Atlantic...all dark blue and beautiful.

Gentle hugs today...

I can well imagine what a sad day Mother's Day always is for you. I go through the same thing on Father's Day, missing my dad so much. When I saw my mom this morning, I hugged her extra long because I never want to take her for granted!!! Big hugs to you! xox

What a lovely tribute, your Mom must have been very special in many ways. I lost my father several years ago, and I am not sure if the ache will ever go away.
Best wishes on this day, and everyday.

Mother's day is always bitter sweet for those of us that no longer have our mothers with us, isn't it? My mother loved the water, too. In fact, she is resting in the Gulf of Mexico and I think of her every time I go to the beach to watch the sunset.

It takes a day like this for us to make time to remember these special moments. x

A lovely tribute to your mom... she was a special lady. It must be tough for you not only on Mothers Day but every day. That is why I need to make this move to be closer to my parents, so that I can enjoy their company while they are still around. However, I will miss you my friend, and all the other wonderful people that I met over the years in this city.

See you soon! Hugs ...
