gifts under $10 .....

..... more or less how it went all the time in the "olden days" as the nephews laughingly call them. Cheeks!.... There were set limits on the amount of money spent... mostly because we didn't have much to spend. As a matter of fact, some years we didn't have any. Although we did eventually get clever and figure out a few money making projects. I think my penurious nature began when I was about....oh..... about 7 years old. ... honestly.

In my searching the other day, I found some under $10 goodies.... already 50% off in November... well... my bargain hunting side is completely satisfied. I now have this dainty Victorian ride for a little lady bear.....

gorgeous, pastel boxes of individually wrapped soaps... ..

a few new soft coloured sparkly tree ornaments and Sugar Plum scented candles....

oh,.................uhm.... well, we had to test the actual chocolates to determine if this was a decent little giftie...........

Gorgeous gifts! what a find the Victorian ride! I saw the Lindt baubles the other day thinking..I'll be back...I notice you didn't give your findings on their taste so I'll just have to sample myself now! Gx

I quit going to one christams part at a church a couple years ago when instead of "below $10" it went to "around $10", then when they decided to have a "$10 minimum" on gifts bought I called it quits. I'd rather make em than buy em and I ain't gonna have someone tell me how much I HAVE to spend!!

Great gift ideas, Vee. I've noticed this year that the catalogs, and internet correspondence from them are offering big cuts in prices, free shipping, and all kinds of extras to encourage us to buy this year. One little light in the tunnel, I guess.

I would be more than pleased to receive any of these gifts. Reminds me I must get cracking on my Christmas shopping. I have already bought some chocolate santas, better lock 'em up! x

What a lot of beautiful gifts - I love the sleigh ride, will look fab with one of your bears in it.

Isn't it amazing with the number of shop sales eveywhere - not normally until boxing day here.
