Apparently it is National De-Lurking week...

..or so MsPea says.... I borrowed this from her site...

I don't really worry or wonder if my comments match my counter... as I have discovered that even I make it hop up each time I go back and forth editing a post...or if I go to a post on another page on my blog..or ..well, anything makes it stack up more numbers really. So... a really busy day of visitors could actually be just one new person.. perusing several old posts...and all of a sudden, up goes the counter a 5 or 8 count. What needs to happen is a better method of counting... however, if you are new to the blog... please say a hello on this day of de-lurking won't you?

Some bloggers are just curious... some are a combination between frogs and explorers... love to visit all over the world while blog hopping. I can't tell you how much info I have discovered in my travels through the various blogs. Plenty of us would like to hop on over to your blog too...but, we won't know where to hop if you don't leave a clue. But...if you are still shy... no problem... thanks for stopping by anyway...and I am still very glad to have you visiting. Perhaps some day you will see something comment worthy; that something special for which you have been waiting...... I hope so.

thanks for coming over to visit here c.c. ... glad to know you stop by from time to time.

don't worry too much about blog etiquette... hahahah... I am not sure if there really is a "handbook" of any type. However, I always think it fun to back track and see where folks show up from, don't you?

To answer your question...just playing with PAINT. Nothing to it. I also use Irfanview (a free program!) to enhance photos. Should have enhanced a few of those, but I didn't. Also, all those photos were taken with my old camera. Still not getting used to the new one so I just used photos I already had. The Christmas tree is from two years ago...stuff like that.

What are you working on these days now that the bathroom is complete?

I found your blog today and loved it! I will certainly visit again as well as adding your site to my blog. Love your dolls and bears, especially Leonard. I will certainly try the Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies recipe for a Valentine's Day treat.

I am definitely not a lurker, my motto is, you can't expect people to comment on your blog, if you put no effort into commenting on theirs. x

Hey Vee,

Thanks so much for always leaving me comments on my blog. I have to admit I was sick of that stupid black sewing machine myself...but not sick enough to still not want/need one. :o) HA!

Here's to 2008!!!

Hi Vee:-) Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment...as you say, it's the only way we can repay the visit if the person leaves a comment! lol Isn't this world of blogging so much fun? I'm still amazed at the friendships I've made through it:-) I've just read your last couple of posts...I love the way your new bathroom turned out!! I know the work that went into it...at least with my redecorating my computer room, I don't need to gut it first! lol Hope to see you again:-) xox

Hello again Vee, just to prove once and for all that I am not a lurker! You commented on my mutant parsnips, these are one crop which are best grown for this time of year over here in England, and actually do better for a frost. Sounds cold where you are, today over here is torrential rain and gale force winds, an ideal day for blogging, not an ideal day for digging up parsnips! x
