On Golden Pond

This is not a very clear photo of the beautiful little guy..... but, it just had to be taken... ... after all, it was a chickadee..and they can disappear pretty quickly sometimes.  This guy seemed to be content to just sit there though....too bad I wasn't a bit more careful this time.

I have a lot of shots of disappearing bums, flapping wings, or, nothing at all in the frame when it comes to birds...

So, I had to show it to you.

The setting sun was reflecting off the windows across the street... and it looked so great on the water....

awwww! Chickadees have to be one of my favourites and you're right that they are really hard to get pictures of them sitting still.

The color of the water here is gorgeous! And I absolutely adore that bird bath. I collect angels and would love to find one like this for my yard. Nice catch of the cute Chickadee enjoying his bath.

Hi Vee,
Oh I love that Angel sitting on the side of the birdbath. Then how cute is that chickadee sitting peacefully in the water. :)
He had a whole "POOL" to himself. LOL

I love the gold in the water!

Too many people transfer the plain feathers of female birds into some kind of message about people - reject such thinking!!!

That's a lovely picture and the reflection of the sun on the water looks as though he is having a bath in liquid gold.
