I'm still waiting for my blooms to appear on the cactus. They are small and haven't opened yet.

Hello, little Raffles says hello and he is sitting here and smiles to me. He is ever so cute ! Nice you like the card :) Perhaps our Nisse and your Gnomes are kind of the same. King Winter and the snow came to us this morning as well.
Those gnomes are so cute hiding in the snow drifts....a lovely gift!
Gnomes have certainly been a very popular garden ornament over the years. I must admit I never took to them myself but I did enjoy seeing all the different ones in people's yards. I remember one person even made news back then when they took their gnome on a world trip and took pics of the gnome in each part of the world they visited. OH, and then someone else kidnapped someone's gnomes and wanted a ransom for their return...they even sent pictures of the gnomes with blindfolds on. lol People were always thinking up ways to get some publicity using gnomes and there was always some sort of gnome story getting around. Cute!
Your Christmas Cactus looks quite elegant in that pot...our's don't bloom here until June/July...our winter months.
I have never had a doubt that you have a green thumb ... everything that you touch blossoms. Your Christmas Cactus looks beautiful. Have you set up your Christmas tree yet? Miss you tons!
I love gnomes too (though not the garden ornament variety). When I was little they had a childrens TV show about them that we use to watch, and the pics from that book look just like the characters from that. I loved that show, but can't remember the name of it.
Hi Bumblevee, thanks for stopping by my Blog! I love the bears & dolls you create - you are so talented - each one is so detailed, you must have alot of patience!
Even though i learned to ride horses, not motorbikes, I can totally understand the exhilaration!! ... isn't it great to learn something new?!

I noticed the first formations of little buds on all my xmas cactus plants today- I was thrilled! I have two red, one white and one gold. Looks like they will be in full bloom for the holidays, got my fingers crossed.
