BWA HA HA HA HA HA! (That was my evil, American cackle)My Mom's Christmas Cactus is a traitor too... blooms ALL YEAR, *except* at Christmas.Sheesh.
threaten it with a day in the snow? ;p i don't think I've had one that bloomed when it was supposed to actually...
Hey V - how are you doing? I'm not a cactus fan, because the ones we had in our graden were very painful! but, I love the flower of this one :O)
Vee, your Christmas Cactus is lovely! Maybe it is a Thanksgiving Cactus! LOLLove your little bears. They are so precious.Sorry I was away and didn't post to your blog sooner but we will be moving hopefully soon. So busy, busy!
Vee, that is one absolutely gorgeous photo shot! Seriously!!! I was wandering the store earlier tonight and was thinking that I need some sort of house plant in my new little place...a holiday one. Any ideas?Hope you have a great weekend. :)
Well don't feel too bad about that. My Christmas cactus that normally would bloom at Thanksgiving bloomed for Halloween. Now, I have never heard of a Halloween cactus.
Mine should be forming flower buds soon. Since I live in a zone close to where they orginated I get xmas blooms. You're so far north your poor plant is confused-LOL!

Our varieties don't bloom until June/July being that they are our winter months. I love their flowers!
Hi, that is an entertaining glimpse into the life of your "Christmas" cactus.I gave your blog the Kreativ Blogger award. For more info about the award visit my book's blog for 11/22/09 at http://scrapbookofchristmasfirsts.blogspot.comTerra
ahh that's pretty. I'm waiting for mine. It has buds but the blooms haven't come out yet.
They are beautiful flowers aren't they. I have an Easter one and it has a mind of its own. It blooms whenever it wants to.
Sophia ... Cyclamen is the traditional Christmas plant XD
hehe... I call mine The Hallowe'en Cactus because it blooms in time for Hallowe'en every year. Silly thing.Better than the *other* one that has thrived for years (new growth three times a year) but NEVER bloomed! Arg!
