Photo a week...
First ..... I must begin by saying thank you so much to everybody for all the nice comments, congratulations, ...and... especially, for the wonderful compliments on Madame!! I worked pretty diligently on her and I'm very proud of how she turned out. The sad thing is .. now I won't see her in person for a year as she will be traveling with many of the other dolls to various places in Canada and the U.S..... fingers crossed that she comes home intact.

It's already Tuesday in Australia....but, here I am with my photo of the week girls....
today I was impressed with Susan's lovely photos of her geraniums .... how could I not show you mine now? Although my pics don't hold a candle to hers.... the actual plants are looking very beautiful ... almost had too much heat and rain the past weird weeks though. How do the delicate petals survive? They got pounded with a wild storm while I was away at Vikki's a week ago.. then several days of cool... and prior to that... blistering heat.... I don't know how any of the flowers stay nice for as long as they do.
The portulaca look lovely too...but, are beginning to get a wee bit leggy and slightly paler on the greens now .... but, look at the blooms. This colour is my fav and looks just like a prefect little rose to me. The softest of buttery creams.... the edge of each petal looking like it was barely dipped in a bath of palest lilac ...
At the beginning of the summer, the bets were on to see if our little tomato seedlings would survive..... now...they have green tomatoes on pretty sturdy stalks....and the bets have now become ... will they ripen in time? will there be enough sunny days left? ....

great pics, Vee! The geraniums are such a pretty colour. YAY on your tomatoes....they look quite healthy too.
Hi there...you have lovely themes on both your blogs and it has been great fun to see your handwork.
Teddys and dollies, flowers and breads, donkeys and chcolates...yep, very nice blogs!
Hi Vee,
Your Girl is going to be away for a while. How neat that people will get to see all the beautiful dolls.
Love your photos the rose is pretty and the tomatoes will be great when they ripen.
Hugs
Carolyn
Hi, I think it's a good year for tomatoes over here cos ours are amazing and now starting to ripen well. They are so heavily fruited though that we have already had to reinforce their canes and ties as the weight pulled them completely over a few days ago.
Lovely photos Vee!
that pale flower is gorgeous :D hmm wonder if it would grow here. might have to try next year :)
hmm our tomatoes are pretty small right now, so hopefully they ripen and get a bit bigger before it gets too cold out for them
Hi Vee!
These are beautiful flowers and your Madame is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!
Hugs, Paulette :o)
Gorgeous photos, Vee! That rose is stunning! And yeah for you on the tomatoes - ours aren't doing so well. Don't know why, could be the weird weather we've been having!
Your doll is incredible and I think it's wonderful she'll be delighting others on her travels! :) Silke
Your could always move the tomato plants inside and put gro-lights on them so they could finish ripening.
Love the delicate coloration of the portulaca. and your geraniums are such a pretty shade of peachy pink.
Beautiful photos Vee.
Your flowers are glorious, Vee. I hope you have better luck with your tomatoes than we have had this year. Next year I'll go to the farmer's market for vegetables!
