Say..if I were to stitch individual seed beads on a bodice or sleeves... there would be hours.... and if I do shoes of Apoxy Sculpt; it takes a day to dry and then a second or third application, each taking another day to dry etc.. til I am happy with them..then painting... etc.. the hair can sometimes be a real challenge too.. what to use..how to style it..even cutting it if I dare to try. I suppose the degree of difficulty and detail is the main culprit that takes up so much time. Also.. if I am designing a whole new doll or even just trying to match up parts..it is a bit hit and miss to get it right. then of course..the faces.. .love that part .. that is the fun part. Wish I could just do faces and forget the sewing parts! LOL My Serenity fairy doll took me months ..but I don't work on them every day either... sorry this is so long.. but hope it explains a bit for you... and sure hope I can do a worthy entry for the challenge. I think this challenge should produce some great dolls!BumbleVeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13272892605379537233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8082891485735387579.post-12473307860986333892007-06-18T20:22:00.000-07:002007-06-18T20:22:00.000-07:00Wow!! How long does it take you to make a doll...compared to a bear or critter?

Warmest bear hugs, AletaAletahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05445009967161824724noreply@blogger.com
