I often feel eyes on me when I'm sitting at my table sewing and look up to see at least one set of beady little mourning dove eyes peering in at me from the windowsill. We have nuthatches, downy woodpeckers, chickadees and chickadees but no sparrows. Not sure if it's because they don't like flying up this high (we're on the third floor of an apartment building).
