Today I am making a chair for my gal. And... "carpeting" a stand. And... of course, a deadline is looming..... ackkkk!! My nose is to the grindstone......or, more literally, stuck in glue and velvets and tapestry bits... my fingers are fuzzy and green, purple, and gold..... ick. Doing a lot of mess making.... I'll clean it up later... maybe.
For now I am using three separate chairs around the kitchen table. Everything is everywhere...just the way I like it. I know where my stuff is. Sort of. Glue something, leave it in that spot..move to the next chair and so on... again, no music, just change chairs...hahah..... I like the silence of my workplace. Well, with the exception of the lovely birdsongs. Windows are open, sun is streaming in and the sounds of many different trillings are sailing in and out on a very gentle breeze. A perfect day. When I get the main gluing done, I'm off out to sit with a coffee and enjoy a bit of fountain burbling....
This was interesting....I focused on the little Korean Lilac just outside the patio from the kitchen window... ..then, thought..ooops...better zoom in a bit (as far as my little Sony will zoom anyway) ...but, didn't remember to change the focus and look at the interesting shot. I took another, but honestly... the adjusted shot had nothing on this one....

So, I seem to have gotten into a 2 month posting habit. That's not cool.
I must say, Blogger drives me bonkers, with all it's reoccurring faults,

I like making messes and I'm with you when it comes to maybe cleaning it up later...The best part is having some coffee and enjoying the fountain burbling, if you don't mind, I would love to join you, my house work can wait!!! hugs, Jennifer
Hope you share a picture of the chair/chairs.
Love the out of focus picture. Looks a bit like a watercolor. :)
ha, you work like me...mess maker extraordinare! You must show us the chairs when they are done.
Lovely watercolour image.
Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I left you an award on my blog. There is no obligation to take it though.
Michelle :)
Hello Vee,
I love the material you chose for the chair ... it will look spectacular once you complete it. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. Hope you are keeping well and enjoying the lovely weather. We are experiencing +38 C ... too hot for me!
Hugs ... Maria
Vee that is an interesting shot. As Norma said it looks like water colour. Look forward to seeing the chair. I like the colour combination.
